Year 5 News 10.07.26

Our penultimate week has come to an end in year 5! I can't quite believe how quickly this year has flown and I am so proud of each of you for what you have achieved this year. 

Our wow moment this week has been our RE lesson. For our final unit of RE, we have thought about how we can make a change to the world today. In our first lesson, we considered who can make changes, how changes can be made and what we thought was an important change to make. In our second and third lesson, we had time to consider a change we would like to make to the world. We then spent time to gather our ideas and research about how we could do this and encourage others to. We created the most amazing posters to share these messages. We used some of our computing knowledge from earlier in the term to bring our posters to life!

Our maths learning this week has been learning about converting measurements and problem solving with the four operations. 

In writing, we wrote our wonderful survival guides – you all sound like great survival experts. 

This week, we have also completed our Science, Music, PE, RHE, Heartsmart and DT lessons.

Maths.co.uk homework has been set for this week.
