Year 4 Weekly News 27.02.2026

Welcome back, team! I hope you had a brilliant half term.

One of this week’s highlights has been First Aid Week at Wybunbury Delves. We learnt how to make a 999 call and had some great discussions about when it is appropriate to ring 999 and when it is better to contact 111. We also learnt about asthma. We learnt about what it is, what can trigger it, and what to do if you think someone may be experiencing an asthma attack.

In Maths, we have been learning about factors and how to use the grid method to solve multiplication problems. In English, we have been given the task of helping monster hunters catch two mythical beasts! To do this, we will be writing an information guide. We have already looked at what a good example looks like and have started practising the features of this particular style of writing.

This week we have also enjoyed lessons in DT, Computing, RE, Handwriting, Music, PE, Book Club and Wellbeing.
