Year 4 News 15.05.26

Happy Friday, Year 4!

The highlight of our week has definitely been working on our DT project to make working torches. You’ve loved bringing your ideas to life and seeing your circuits begin to work. There was lots of excitement, teamwork and problem solving along the way! Another highlight has been Art. In Art, you’ve been adding the finishing touches to your beautiful project inspired by a poem. You retold the story through a series of images and experimented with different media including charcoal, ink and colouring pencils. The finished pieces will look fantastic.

In Maths, we finished our unit on fractions and have now started exploring decimals. So far, we’ve been learning all about tenths and how they link to fractions and place value. In English, we have been finishing off our PGL recounts. 

Alongside this, you’ve also enjoyed lessons in RE, PE, Music, Geography, Science and HeartSmart. Another busy and brilliant week in Year 4!
