Year 2 Weekly News – 26.06.26

What a unique and hardworking week we’ve had in Year 2!

This week was assessment week, and I am incredibly proud of how sensibly, calmly and confidently the children approached their tasks. They tried their very best in everything they were given, and their attitude was fantastic.

With the very hot weather, we spent lots of time staying cool and comfortable. The children coped brilliantly and showed great resilience throughout the week.

To celebrate all their hard work, we had fun on Friday with water pistols — a much needed cool down and a chance to enjoy some laughter together. The children absolutely loved it!

We also spent time on wellbeing and transition activities, helping the children reflect on their achievements, think about their goals, and show thoughtful, positive attitudes towards the changes ahead.
