The highlight of our week has definitely World Book Day. Your costumes were phenomenal — thank you for putting so much effort into them! It was such fun teaching Saucepan Man, the Cat in the Hat, Harry Potter, Claude, and many more fantastic characters. One of the most special parts of the day was visiting the preschool to share books together. It was lovely to see you reading so kindly and confidently. There were definitely some really beautiful moments, and memories were made.

Our focus book for the day was We Are Water Protectors. This powerful story is about a young girl who stands up to protect the Earth’s water from harm and reminds us how important it is to care for nature. The book inspired us to write diary entries imagining what it might feel like to be a water protector. In the afternoon, we also used the stunning illustrations from the book to create some beautiful pieces of artwork.

It was a wonderful day of books, creativity and imagination!
