Y4 Weekly News 22.05.26

Happy Friday, Year 4!

Our biggest wow moment this week was definitely Sports Day. You all did a fantastic job and represented your house colours brilliantly. It was lovely to see so much encouragement, determination and teamwork throughout the morning, and most importantly, everyone had lots of fun!

Another highlight was finishing your DT torches and evaluating them. You were so excited to see your final products working and thought carefully about what went well and what you might improve next time.

In Maths, we’ve been busy learning about decimals, focusing on tenths and hundredths. You’ve worked really hard to understand how decimals link to fractions and place value. In English, you finished editing your recounts and have now started writing up your final versions. It has been wonderful to see so many of you using your superstar handwriting and taking real pride in your presentation.

Alongside this, you’ve also enjoyed lessons in RE, Music, PE, HeartSmart, Wellbeing, Geography, Science, Computing and DT. Another fantastic week in Year 4! I hope you all have a wonderful half term.
