Preschool News 8.9.23

What a fantastic first week back we have had in Preschool. We wish a very warm welcome to our new starters and to our returning families.

This week we have focused on settling in and learning our preschool rhythms and routines. We have been singing our Hello and Goodbye songs and some favourite nursery rhymes, along with our number rhyme '3 Little Ducks'.

At story time the children have listened to stories from our favourite book basket including 'Shark in the Park', 'Peace at Last' and 'Dear Zoo'

The children have enjoyed exploring in the preschool garden, playing in the sand and water trays, the mud kitchen, and the building area.

Next week we will start our theme for the term 'Wonderful Me' and also introduce the first of our key texts 'We're going on a Bear Hunt'
