This Week in Preschool!
This week has been another joyful one filled with Christmas fun and festive activities. Here's what we've been up to:

Nativity Filming Completed
We're excited to share that we've finished filming our Nativity performance! We can't wait to share it with you next week via Seesaw. The children have worked so hard, and we're incredibly proud of their efforts.

Christmas Creations
The children have been busy crafting special Christmas surprises just for you! These will be coming home next week--keep an eye out for their lovely creations.

Story of the Week: Stick Man
This week's story, Stick Man by Julia Donaldson, has been a huge hit. The children especially loved the part where Santa comes to the rescue. It's been a wonderful way to celebrate the season while fostering a love for storytelling.

Rhyme Time: 5 Mince Pies in the Baker's Shop
Our rhyme this week, 5 Mince Pies in the Baker's Shop, has helped us explore the number 5. The children took turns "buying" mince pies while practicing their counting skills. We've also been eagerly counting down to Christmas with our Advent calendar.

 Outdoor Fun
The children have had plenty of outdoor fun, riding scooters, playing hopscotch, and enjoying hide-and-seek as well as racing and chasing games. The fresh air and active play have been wonderful for everyone!

Indoor Festivities
Indoors, the children have loved playing in our hot chocolate station role-play area, exploring glittering foam in our exploration trays, and participating in a variety of group games like bingo and magnetic fishing.

Looking Ahead
Next week, we'll continue our Christmas-themed fun. We'll finish our Christmas makes, enjoy some mini disco dances, and play even more exciting games as we wrap up the term with festive cheer.

It's been another magical week in preschool, and we're looking forward to ending the term on a high note!
