Victorian Day – Y6

A fantastic Victorian Day has taken place in Year 6 today as we began to celebrate 200 years of our wonderful school. You all looked brilliant today and thank you for getting into our Bicentenary celebrations.
We have learnt the Victorian way today. We recited our class rules, sang the National Anthem, stood to speak to an adult and ensured we only spoke when we were spoken to. We tried our best to stay in role although giggles were unavoidable.

Our Maths lesson focused on reciting the times tables and we had a motto to write in English. We also made the Victorian ball and cup game and peg dolls too.

We practised our service in readiness for Friday. Well done Year 6. Super job.

We ended our day by looking through our school log dating back to 1822. We found the entry that interested us the most and created a piece of art to share on a timeline.
