Y3 Roman Trip

Wow year 3 what a fantastic day we have had! I was so impressed and you did Wybunbury proud!

SIN, SIN, SIN, DEX, SIN! You marched loud and proud into battle!

You were part British Legion and learn the best way to hold and shield to protect yourself. You all worked so well together and created a testudo and were under attack from the Britons.

SIN, SIN, SIN DEX, SIN! You filled your boots full of food ready to explore Roman life in Britain.

You went on a ship to Britannia and went to explore everything wonderful in the country. It certainly wasn't the weather!

You learnt about all the food and entertainment they had. We visited the Roman Baths and how they only have a bath ONCE A WEEK!! You then visited the toilet. Unfortunately, you were not alone. You had to share it with 60 other people! All pooing and weeing at the same time! And not to mention, toilet roll? What's that? Sponge on a stick is where it's at. Would you like to share?

Then you visited the amphitheater, wow the entertainment was amazing! We even had to decided the fate of 2 gladiators! Unfortunately, only one survived!

Then we visited an archaeological dig and what reminded under the very museum.

No wonder we had some very sleepy children on the bus home!
