Y3 News 8.7.22

We were so sporty last week!!

You spent a lot of the week as sportsmen and women and supported eachother during our field events. You ran 5 laps of the mile trap during cross county. Threw the javilian like James Campbell. Jumped like Greg Rutherford in the long jump and threw the shot put like Judy Oakes.

On sports day, you all cheers on eachother and worked well as a team!

During the week in English you started your shared write using all your skills and knowlegde which we have learnt over the past few weeks. You made sure you used time fronted adverbials, making sure they had commas after. You made sure you had short and snappy sentences and used paragraphs to organise your work.

In maths, you explored time and time to the nearest minute.

You spent time researching different renewable energy sources and presented your research to the rest of the class.

In Science you explored what vertebrates and invertebrates are and how we classify the different animals.

I cannot believe this week is our last full week together! Our time together has flown by and I don't want it to end!
