Y3 News 19.7.22 LAST ONE :(

Can you believe year 3 is over? I cannot!

Our last two days together have been very hot. You all coped so well in our boiling hot classroom!

On Monday you started the morning by finishing our spelling unit in the year 1 classroom with air-con!!! Well done year 3, you have worked so hard on these! After that you had the choice of maths games which you could play! Practicing all the wonderful maths skills you had learnt over year 3. Before lunch Mrs Swan came in so say goodbye and you had a lovely sing song before lunch. It was lovely to hear your beautiful singing voices! After lunch, we had a whole school goodbye to Mrs Swan and choir sang some beautiful songs for us. Then you filled in an all about me poster for Mrs Pointon and Miss Welch so they can learn all about you over the summer holidays.

On Tuesday, you watched the wonderful Wybunbury’s got talent in the lovely air-coned classrooms to keep us cool! Well done to all of the year 3s who entered and performed in-front of the whole school! It is a very brave thing to do! After break the winners were announced and listened to the year 6s leaving song! We also said a whole school goodbye to the year 6s. In the afternoon, you watched a lovely film and did some colouring and word searches.

A huge thank you to all of you lovely year 3s for making my year so enjoyable! You have had me in stitches most days and made me smile everyday. It has been lovely to watch you all grow, mature and progress SO MUCH in the last 7 months!

A massive thank you to all of your families for supporting with home learning/homework and making and finding a variety of costumes.

I couldn’t have asked for a better first class to kick start my teaching career. You have all shown me so much love and kindness in everything you do!

I hope you are all leaving with a new found love for Harry Styles and flourish in your new journey in year 4!
