We are thrilled to share with you the exciting events that unfolded during our action-packed National Sports Week. From hockey to rugby, Thai boxing to tennis, our school was buzzing with energy as students delved into a multitude of sporting activities, discovering new skills and embracing the spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship.
To kick things off, Year 2 and 4 had the privilege of exploring the art of Thai boxing under the guidance of Mr. Levins. They learned various techniques, honed their coordination, and fostered a sense of discipline. What a great experience!
Meanwhile, Year 3 and 5 embarked on an exhilarating journey into the world of rugby with the Mr. Barker. Through engaging drills and friendly matches, the students developed their agility, communication skills, and strategic thinking. We definitely have some future rugby stars on our hands!
In another corner of our sporting extravaganza, our enthusiastic Year 1 and Reception children donned their hockey gear under the guidance of Mrs. Cocks. They embraced the fast-paced nature of the game, building their hand-eye coordination and developing a keen sense of spatial awareness. Well done, team!
Not to be forgotten, our cricket enthusiasts had the pleasure of continuing their cricket sessions their coach, Harry, courtesy of Chance to Shine cricket. Some great skills were on show!
Throughout the week, our amazing parent helpers dedicated their time and expertise, enriching the learning experiences of our young athletes. A huge thank you to Mrs Cocks, Mr Levins, Mr Broughton and Mr Barker!
