Merry Christmas Y2!

I can't quite believe we are three days away from Christmas. We have had a very Christmassy week. On Wednesday, you spent the morning watching the pantomime. Oh no you didn't, oh yes we did!At lunch time, you had your Christmas dinners and you enjoyed sitting with your friends and pulling your Christmas crackers with each other. In the afternoon, you completed Christmassy activities with Mr Hadfield. You worked hard on building your very own Santa's grotto and a sleigh to go with it. They are amazing and you then got to make your own fires and eat your marshmallows in your grotto. On Thursday, we celebrated our toy theme day. Today has been a Christmas extravaganza! We had a Christmas disco in the morning where we danced, played games and even had a Y1/2/3 dance off. What a brilliant time we had! We had a small buffet in the afternoon, played some of our board games and then settled down to watch a Christmassy movie.

I am sure you will sleep well tonight after such a busy week!

Mrs VR, Miss Wilson and myself would just like to say a huge thank you for all of our gifts and cards. We really do feel like the luckiest teachers ever and we are always grateful for your support and generosity.

All that is left to say is.... MERRY CHRISTMAS! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas holiday spending quality time with your families. You really do deserve this break Y2 as you have worked super hard and I am very proud of how much progress you have made. I am so lucky to be your teacher.
