Happy Summer Y2!

Today I said my goodbyes to you all after a wonderful two years of being your teacher.

When you first walked into my class in September 2022, you had nervous faces and butterflies in your belly but today you left standing proudly and confidently. These two years have been absolutely fantastic. You have grown so much as people and you have shined your lights each and every day. I am beyond proud of the progress you have made but not only that the beautiful children that you have developed into. I quite often get adults that say to me 'Oh Miss Haynes, aren't your class so polite and well behaved' and that is so true! Your politeness and warmth has brought so much joy and happiness to my life over these two years and you have put so many smiles on my face.

From our Chester zoo trip in Year One, our worships, our forest schools days and even to everything that happens in classroom on a normal day, we have made so many memories. Please take these learning opportunities and lessons with you and remember everything that I have taught you. Be strong, be bold and be courageous. Most importantly, don't forget to let that confidence shine through.

A special thank you to Mrs Van Russelt and Miss Wilson for all the support they have given to you and myself over the last two years! We couldn't have done it without them and I know that so much of your progress is down to these two wonderful teachers who have gone above and beyond to help you.

We would like to say a big thank you for all of our wonderful messages, cards and presents. We are very lucky!

All that is left for me to say is...have a wonderful summer! I will see you in September as you become Year Three.
