Summer reading challenge

We welcomed Nantwich library in today during our worship to talk to us about the summer reading challenge. We found out that the reading challenge is about toys and games this year.

The children have to read 6 books over the summer for their challenge. Once they have read their 6 books they will be invited into the library for a presentation evening where they will receive a medal and a certificate.

This is a fantastic way to help your child to continue to read during the holidays. We will celebrate the children’s achievements at school as well. We will ask the children to come into school with their medal and certificate so that we can celebrate it in worship and each child will be given 10 marbles if they complete the challenge.
