Chester Zoo

Year 1 and 2 both went on a school visit to Chester Zoo today. For many of us, it was our first trip experience and we had an absolute blast! 

From the moment we got on the coach, we were laughing, signing and chatting about how excited we were for our trip. We got to the zoo and rushed to see the amazing elephants. We then spent time walking through the butterfly house, seeing the sleeping lions and seeing the cheeky chimps. We didn't stop walking for the whole day and saw so many animals including giraffes, snakes, orangutans, okapis, Komodo dragons, camels and zebras. 

The children were beautifully behaved and did the school of Wybunbury Delves proud, 

We had lots of sleepy children on the way back home and hopefully (no promises here) they should sleep well tonight.

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the adults that came along and made the trip so special.
