What an exciting time we have all had sharing our nativity with our lovely families this week.
This week KS1 took their families back to the time when a very special baby was born. In our story, there were lots of animals that wanted to eat from Morris' manger and they all got 'shoo shoo shooed away' until one night Morris fell into a deep sleep. Morris woke up to a baby in his manger and this baby was visited by some very noble kings and shepherds. Morris was so excited that a baby was in his manger and as all of the commotion went away you sang a beautiful lullaby 'away in a manger' to rock baby Jesus asleep. This was such a precious way of sharing the Christmas story to your parents.
We are so so so proud of our KS1 children as going on a stage in front of an audience is not easy. However, you all said your lines so confidently and clearly and your singing and actions to your songs warmed everyone' hearts up. Your acting was also very magical and helped bring our performance of 'Away in a manger' to life. You really did put on the most wonderful production and has left us with a feeling of joy and festivity.
We would just like to say a huge thank you to all of our families for helping to bring in costumes and helping your children with their lines. We are also grateful for everyone turning up to both of our showings and being such a fantastic audience.
We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did and it has helped you to get in the spirit of Christmas.
We hope you have a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!
