Merry Christmas Reception Class

Reception Class, we have well and truly 'Stepped into Christmas' this week, and what a magical week it has been!

On Monday, we hosted Messy Church for our parents and crafted some beautiful Christmas keepsakes while spending precious time with our loved ones. It was such a special experience to share together.

We were so proud to present our nativity, which we shared on the big screen as well as on Seesaw for all our families to watch. The rest of the school also had the chance to see it, and they were so impressed with our wonderful storytelling and acting!

On Wednesday, we had an unforgettable day--it was Panto and Christmas jumper day! We absolutely loved watching Cinderella, which had us all laughing and thoroughly entertained. A big thank you to the PTA for funding this fantastic treat for us. The fun continued with a delicious Christmas dinner, which made the day even more festive.

Over the past few weeks, we have been learning the words and actions to the song 'The 12 Days of Christmas', and today we joined in with the whole school to sing and perform the actions together.

Today was also our party day, which was filled with festive joy and excitement! We had a fantastic sing along to our favorite Christmas songs, accompanied by instruments, and enjoyed playing games like pin the nose on the reindeer, the balloon race, and hunt the bauble. We even blew a few bubbles in the garden and then finished by dancing our Christmas socks off!

According to the children, this was "the best day ever!"
