World book day 2022

On Thursday 3rd March, we are inviting everyone to dress up as their favourite book character and celebrate world book day with us.

This year, the children will be celebrating the special message of 'you are a reader'. The children will be given lots of opportunities to celebrate world book day by completing lots of different activities in class that promote reading for pleasure.

An email was sent out at the end of half term to set a special mission. This special mission was to make and create a story spoon of your favourite character. I have attached some pictures for some help with ideas of how you could make your character spoon. Please can these be brought into school by Thursday 3rd March where the winner will be judged and picked from each class.

I am looking forward to seeing all of your amazing story spoons and costumes.
