PE News 27.5.22

This week has been consolidation week. Our lessons involve us leading our own learning while recapping the skills we have learned throughout this half term's topic.

We take out a variety of equipment to use. We had tennis and badminton rackets, sponge and traditional tennis balls, large soft balls, hoops, cones and shuttlecocks. We also took several nets out and had them set at different heights for tennis, badminton and volleyball.

Mrs Jenkins is always amazed by how creative we are! Across the classes we had several games of tennis, badminton and volleyball, some with a twist on the rules like team tennis! We created Fort Lewis volleyball and tennis as well as setting up some excellent skills stations to test our accuracy, speed and balance. We also took the time to practise a wide variety of shots, on our own and with partners, for tennis, badminton and volleyball. We were all brilliant!

Well done to our cricketers, who took part in a Dynamo Cricket competition, and did brilliantly by reaching the semi-final!
