Year 3 Weekly News

This week we've been perfecting our place value, sorting out our SPaG and even took some time to travel all around the world!

In English this week, our focus was on all things SPaG. We looked at everything from spellings to contractions. We recapped some regions learning and completed 50 SPaG questions in total! Well done everybody!

In Maths this week, we went back to basics and explored place value! We represented numbers in different ways, added, subtracted and completed a range of questions along the way! We compared numbers up to a 1000 and used base 10 to build different numbers! On Friday, we once again completed an arithmetic paper – you all did so well and answered lots of questions!

For our project work this week, we looked at the theme – "Around the World". There were so many amazing flags and country research sent into SeeSaw, it was amazing to see! Well done to all those who sent in wonderful work!
