Year 2 News

Another week of home learning has passed us by. You have impressed me with your leaflets about Wybunbury Delves (and even given me happy tears with your lovely words!). You wrote about some lovely moments at Wybunbury and you will help our new starters learn all about our lovely school with your instructions for different parts of our day. Thank you for presenting them so beautifully too. Some of you wrote them and coloured them in, some of you typed them up and some of you read them to me, I enjoyed every single one!

You started the week in maths with some arithmetic and you are getting super confident with adding two two digit numbers quickly and accurately. We then started a unit on all things money! You showed me you remembered coins and notes and then had a really good go at all of the maths tasks this week. Next week we will continue with money tasks and you can continue to shine!

We are now over half way of The Enchanted Wood story which I love to read to you. Are you enjoying the story?

In other activities, I really enjoyed seeing your basketball challenges. It was lovely to see all your comments about Reverend Helen's worship too. Weren't we lucky to have such a special worship?
