We have BLAST OFF Year 2!

This term our learning theme is Space! This week we started our big art with learning how to draw an astronaut, we then made our life size astronaut 3D and finished our week by making a control panel for our missions to space!

In maths, we have been learning about all things money, starting our unit on coins and notes. I have been impressed with how well you have got on with different calculations. You used your counting in 2s, 5s and 10s to help you. Well done.

In English, we have read our new class story "Man on the Moon. A Day in the Life of Bob" by Simon Bartram. We enjoyed the adventures he got up to and meeting his friends. The children did say they had spotted aliens on the pages...but I couldn't see any and neither can Bob??!!
