The Results Are In – TTRS Maths England

The final buttons were pressed last night as we came to an amazing end competing in the Maths England TT Rockstars Countrywide Competition.

WOW, WOW and another WOW to you all! We have proudly watched you all play your part in supporting our school as you put your knowledge into swift action this week. From classroom iPads and computers, to home devices, you have dedicated your time and energy into this competition with staggering results...

AND THE RESULTS ARE IN...

From Colleges, to High Schools, to Primary Schools, we have battled in true spirit and placed an amazing 10th place on the school average leader board. Around 3000 schools have been involved in this competition, so for our small school this is no mean feat! As staff we could not be prouder of each and every one of you. You answered 783,212 correct answers as a school team which positioned us in 27th place, compared to 341,148 correct answers in last year's competition. Truly amazing.

In the class competition, Year 4 placed 16th with a class score of 349,948 and Year 6 placed 23rd with a class score of 307,699. Year 5 scored 72,716 and were placed 1083, Year 3 scored 49,297 and were placed 2138, and Year 2 entered scoring our school a further 3560 points. What a fabulous team you all are. With over 17000 classes taking part, you should all stand proud.

Your individual scores have also been astonishing. We had one top 50 player from Y6 who came 46th in the entire competition and other players in school who were placed within the top 100. To double our total points from last year means you have all supported our school in style. You rock!

We will be celebrating your success this week along with certificates for the most valuable players and classes.
