An angel said to Mary, 'You are the chosen one. You are going to have a baby and he will be God's son.'
This week we have really enjoyed performing our 'really noisy nativity' to our parents, grandparents and the school community, retelling the first Christmas and the birth of Jesus. We certainly sang our little hearts out and impressed everyone with how well we performed.
In our mathematics activities this week we have continued to explore the concept of time, linking it to our RE where we time ordered the Nativity story and orally retold the story to our working partner.
We then drew our favourite part of the story and in our literacy work wrote a sentence to explain the importance of the story and why Jesus was a very special baby.
After having some very busy days it has been lovely for us to enjoy some 'downtime' in our independent choosing time where we have played number games and enjoyed playing with some of our favourite toys again.
Have a lovely weekend
