Another busy week at Preschool, there is definitely lots of excitement in the air – anyone would think that it is almost Christmas!
Thank you for coming in your Christmas jumpers on Tuesday to mark the countdown to Christmas and raise money for school funds. On Thursday, it was lovely to decorate the trees in our orchard with your baubles.
To develop our understanding of the world, we went on a leaf hunt around our school environment. Then, using out leaf checker, we searched the grounds for different leaves and then matched them to their tree. We then enjoyed creating tree rubbings. Also, as part of our wellness time this week, we took the time to appreciate the trees in our orchard then decorated fir cones to hang from the branches.
To develop our communication and language development, we built upon our game of 'Bear'says... from last week and this week we focused on listening for a signal that involved prepositional language.
We have also continued to be busy this week, creating props for our nativity along with Christmas craft surprises for our families. Next week, all our preparations will come alive as we come together to film our nativity. We aim to share this special production with you all via Tapestry during the last week of this half term.
Thank you for a magical week Preschool,
