Merry Christmas Reception Class

Reception Class have well and truly ‘Stepped into Christmas’ this week , and what a magical time it has been!

The festivities began on Wednesday, when we proudly wore our Christmas jumpers and enjoyed a delicious Christmas dinner together. Smiles, laughter, and full tummies were all around!

Yesterday, we had a very special visitor as we met Father Christmas in his grotto. The children happily assured him they had been kind and well-behaved, and we were delighted when he confirmed we were all on his good list – phew!

Today was filled with festive fun as we welcomed Messy Church, where parents joined us to create beautiful Christmas keepsakes. It was such a special opportunity to spend precious time together and celebrate the meaning of Christmas.

We were also incredibly proud to share our Nativity performance on the big screen with the rest of the school. Everyone was so impressed with our wonderful storytelling and confident acting – what superstars!

Over the past few weeks, the children have been busy learning the words and actions to “The 12 Days of Christmas”, and today we joined the whole school to sing and perform it together. According to the children, it was “the best day ever!”
