Happy Summer Holidays, Y4!

What an incredible year it has been!

Looking back, it’s amazing to see just how much you have learnt, achieved and experienced together. From exploring the fascinating world of the Vikings and Ancient China, to investigating the human body, creating working torches, building sculptures and writing exciting stories, recounts and persuasive pieces, you have thrown yourselves into every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. One of the biggest highlights of the year was undoubtedly our PGL residential. Whether you were conquering the zip wire, tackling the giant swing, working together to solve problems or encouraging your friends to keep going, you showed such courage, resilience and teamwork. It was wonderful to watch your confidence grow and to see so many of you step outside your comfort zones. The memories we made together are ones I know we'll treasure for a long time.

What has made this year even more special, though, has been the way you have supported one another. You have shown kindness, resilience and encouragement every single day, celebrating each other's successes and helping one another through the trickier moments. I couldn't be prouder of the class family we have built together.

The best part? I get to do it all again! I am so excited to be your teacher next year and can't wait to see what adventures, challenges and successes Year 5 has in store for us. Have a wonderful summer, make lots of happy memories, and I'll see you in September ready for another fantastic year together!

Even though we will be saying good bye to Miss Smith, we wish her lots of luck in her new job. We have loved having her in our class and would like to say a huge thank you for all her hard work. In September, she is going to be working at another CDAT school so she is still part of our CDAT family. 

And one final note, I would like to say a huge thank you for my very thoughtgul and  very generous cards and gifts. I feel very blessed.
