Happy Half Term Y5!

In English, we have been exploring our new book. We have written character descriptions and explored the writer 's knowledge throughout.

In maths, we have been learning about multiplying and dividing decimals by 10, 100 and 1000 and been introduced to decimals with a thousandth value.

Our wow moment this week has been taking part in our KS2 sports day and our visit to the moss. Sports day allowed us to showcase our sporting skills and commitment to team work and sportsmanship. We enjoyed cheering our teams as well as taking part in our own races. During our visit to the moss this week, we enjoyed pond dipping and bug hunting. We found and identified so many creatures and can really see why the moss is such an amazing habitat for living things in our local area.

Throughout the week, we have also enjoyed two PE lessons, music, history, two science, two heart smart lessons and RE.
