Happy Friday Year 4 – 9.10.26

Happy Friday, Year 4!

What another busy week we’ve had! We have worked incredibly hard to finish our Place Value unit in Maths. We have been tackling negative numbers, exploring Roman numerals and mastering our rounding skills. We have also managed to squeeze in some time on TT Rock Stars to keep practising our times tables. Well done, everyone!

In English, we have been busy writing some excellent narratives using our class book as our inspiration. We have worked hard to perfect our speech, use prepositions and include some fantastic expanded noun phrases to bring our stories to life. We have fitted in spelling lessons all about contractions and continued to practise our joined handwriting.

During our afternoons, we have enjoyed two PE lessons, Music, RE, Wellbeing, Art and Computing. We have also been busy preparing for our Class Worship, which leads me nicely to our highlight of the week!

Our absolute highlight was sharing our Class Worship with you today. We have been working hard on developing our oracy skills and were so excited to share our message about Friendship Terrace with you all. I am incredibly proud of how well everyone spoke, listened and worked together. Thank you so much for coming along and supporting us. It really does mean a lot!

Have a wonderful weekend, everyone. You deserve a well-earned rest after another fantastic week!
