A Fireside Nativity

This week, Year 1 and Year 2 took to the stage to perform their wonderful nativity, The Fireside Nativity. This heart-warming retelling of the traditional Christmas story is set around the comfort of a cosy campfire, where a group of happy campers share the story of the very first Christmas through song and storytelling.
The children reflected on the journey to Bethlehem, the visit of the shepherds, and the joyous moment of Jesus’ birth—just as told in the Bible: “Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord” (Luke 2:11). The children sang beautifully, delivered their lines with confidence, and impressed us all with their fantastic acting. The hall was filled with laughter and joy from our audience, and we loved seeing so many smiles as the children shared their hard work. We hope our performance helped bring a little extra Christmas spirit to you all. A huge thank you to all our parents and carers for supporting the children with learning their lines and songs, and for helping with costumes. Your support always makes such a difference!
