Miss Welch teaches Year 4 and our learning is supported by Mrs Cura, Mr Cornes and Mrs Samms.
I hope you have all had a lovely Easter holiday. It has been lovely to hear everybody's exciting news about what they had been up to this half term.
This terms learning will be based around an exciting new book called "Treason" by Berlie Doherty. We are taking a step back in time to experience what life was like in Tudor England. The Tudors are one of Britain's most famous royal families. Our work will focus on what life was like for the rich and poor and the different monarchs throughout this period. "Treason" is a beautifully descriptive book that describes life in Tudor England. In the book, we will meet William Montague, a young boy who comes from a noble family. We will follow him on his journey to Court and learn about the problems the Reformation creates for him and his family.
Our weekly timetable has been slightly adapted this term. PE will now take place for the full afternoon on a Wednesday. Music with Mrs Chesters will still be on a Tuesday afternoon from 14:00-15:15.
Homework is still set and discussed on a Friday. Including:
Please bring the appropriate books for your homework to be stuck in.
Continuing from last term, timetables tests and mental maths test will take place on a weekly rotation and spelling tests will take place each week.
