Year 4 News 23.01.26

The highlight of our week was definitely our class worship! You did a fantastic job sharing everything you’ve been learning in your Wellbeing Champion sessions. You spoke so clearly about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing and reminded everyone just how important it is to choose happiness. Great work, team. I am very proud of you.

When we weren’t rehearsing, we were busy in Maths and English. In Maths, you explored how to multiply and divide by 10 and 100. You discovered that it’s not about “taking off the zeros” — there's a bit more to it than that! We learnt that it is about making a number either 10 or 100 times bigger or smaller which means the digits move up or down the place value chart. In English, you’ve been getting to know our model text and using the beautiful illustrations to help sequence the story of Arthur and the Golden Rope. You’ll be writing your own version soon, and I can’t wait to see your ideas come to life!

In our afternoons, we have done Science, Music, PE, RE, HeartSmart, Computing, Book Club, Wellbeing, and handwriting.
