Year 6 News of the Week – 30.1.26

What a great way to end a busy week today with our class worship on the Archbishop’s Young Leaders Award. It
has definitely been our stand out moment of the week and I am so proud of you all. You have written, practised and delivered a brilliant message all about being a good leader and working together. You are such great role models and I know how proud you were delivering it to your adults.

In Maths, we have been multiplying fractions by fractions, dividing fractions by whole numbers and now we are onto our decimals unit. You have shown determination to master your learning.

In English, we have become explorers and written speech paragraphs about our journey into the jungle. We have considered what kinds of conversations Darwin and Fitzroy would have, and we have thought carefully about their vocabulary. We have chosen our discoveries and gathered ideas to put into our planning next week.

Other areas of our learning have included… Forest Schools, PE, RE, Music, Science, DT, Spellings, Wellbeing and of course we made time for our favourite buddies. Another busy and brilliant week!

We are enjoying all your Bingo Board activities and have shared many of them this week. We will continue to do so as the weeks go by.
