Miss Welch teaches Year 4 and our learning is supported by Miss Holland.

Throughout the Spring Term, we will be delving into a new culture filled with fireworks and explosive new learning. This terms learning will be inspired by the book 'The Firework Maker's Daughter' by Phillip Pullman. This adventure story will take us on a journey across new lands and will help us to explore exciting new cultures. Fireworks will be the starting point for our learning and will inspire our Science unit of Sound. If you want to find out more about what we will be getting up to this term, check out our newsletter and holistic plan...
This term Year 4 are part of an exciting music opportunity. Each Tuesday, Year 4 will be learning how to play a brass instrument and the lesson will be led by Music4Life.
P.E. will continue to be on a Thursday afternoon but please ensure P.E kits are in school just in case we have P.E at any other time during the week.
On a Friday, SPaG and MyMaths homework will be set and we will go through homework from the previous week. Spelling test, times table tests and diary checks will also take place every Friday so please bring in all the relevant books. Again, please make sure these books are in throughout the week as we often use them for other tasks.
Please remember to log on to Timestable Rockstars to keep up your ratings!
There is already a buzz in the air around this exciting new topic.
Let the adventure begin.
