Every child in school belongs to one of our houses and earns house points or marbles for their house. Children are in the same house as their brothers/sisters and their Year 6 buddy, when they begin in Reception.
Each Friday Year 6 lead a celebration collective worship and the House Captains read out the weekly house point totals.
Thursday's collective worship is House Assembly. The children meet in their house groups rather than altogether in the hall.
The House Teams are named after the four renowned squires, Sir Robert Fouleshurst, Sir Thomas Dutton (Sheriff of the county), Sir John Delves and Sir John Hawkestone, who distinguished themselves under Lord Audley, at the battle of Poitiers where they fought for the Black Prince against the French They fought well and were rewarded by Lord Audley and were made rich knights.
