This week we have been busy learning about Rainforests; where they are, what they do, what lives in them and why they are so important. It is clear that year 5 are budding biologists- you have had some great questions and thoughts about this topic. We have been collecting information for a report- thinking about the best way to record key information quickly. This has connected with our work on life cycles and classification and to top it all off we had a lovely visit from some beautiful ducklings this morning- thank you Mrs Leonard and Harry!
We have also been thinking about our garden for the Arley Hall garden festival which is coming up soon- if you can grow/ bring in any plants to support this, that would be great- we are focusing on creating a garden which will create a wide range of habitats to support a variety of different animals. Any creations would be very welcome!
