Well done for another week of home learning. I am proud of each and every one of you (and your mums...

We hope you enjoy this new collection of reimagined images and verses from Julia Donaldson and Axel...
Year 6 news this week...
In literacy we have continued to look at newspapers, looking at viewpoint and how a story can change. We used The Guardian's advert of the Three Little Pigs to write our own newspaper article either bias towards the pigs or the wolf. I'm sure parents will enjoy reading them at parents evening next week. We have also been continuing to look at skills for the reading paper and continued to build our spag knowledge — do you know the 4 types of past tense and could you explain them?
In maths we have had a statistics focus looking at finding the mean and line graphs.
In RE, with Mrs Taylor, we have focused on the last supper. We have also enjoyed our science work, French with Mrs Bradbury-Smith and PE with Sportscape.
On Thursday afternoon, PC Nick came to talk to us about ESafety.
MyMaths and Spag.com homework has been set today.
Have a lovely weekend
Mrs Chesters
