We have completed our week by rising to the challenge of the BBC Radio 2 500 word story challenge. It's very simple. Entrants write an original story on any subject or theme in 500 Words or fewer and submit it online. If they win, their story will be read live on the radio by a superstar celebrity...like Julie Walters, Tom Hiddleston, Sir Kenneth Branagh, Jeremy Irons, or Sherlock himself — Benedict Cumberbatch. Each year, 10 million Radio 2 listeners hear, read and love these stories. So we have given it our best shot! There has been a wide range of different stories. We found 500 words a challenge! Some children have taken them home to complete and submit if they wish to (mums and dads will need to do this for them)
We have also continued our work on Sikhism, finding out more about their beliefs and practices.
In Maths we have been looking at Pie Charts. Remember there is no new homework set for the holidays but please complete any overdue work on MyMaths.
Wishing you all a restful and rejuvenating half term.
