Year 6 News
This week we have enjoyed looking at the pictures and talking about our experiences at PGL. We have used this to drive our literacy work this week and have produced persuasive leaflets about the visit, they are great and would make interesting reading to future visitors! We are putting together a display of photographs and our leaflets.
In maths we have been applying our calculation strategies to complete some outdoor maths challenges.
Science this week included making blood, the children can give a great explanation of what they used and what it represented.
We have continued our history research and have added to our PowerPoints. Geography work this week has focused on coasts and using maps/photos to compare coastal places. We were surprised at the level of coastal erosion taking place in the UK and compared this to Wing in our story.
All this and we enjoyed celebrating Harvest with Y4 and Y5, mums, dads and relatives at church on Tuesday.
Enjoy your weekend Y6 — you deserve it!
