Year 6 News
Welcome back everyone! It is lovely to see everyone back and welcome Ben to our class. This half term we will be continuing our work on Exodus and global issues before turning our attention to revision after half term. There are lots of exciting things happening across the term, including Bikeability in early February.
This week we have been settling back into our routine. In literacy we are using the book Journey by Aaron Becker, this is a picture book and we are going to be writing our version of the story. The little girl is fed up as no one will play with her but she finds a magical escape which takes her to different places.
Numeracy we have focused on decimals.
We carried out a P4C discussion about floods and how they affect people. We have also started work on our interpretation of New Mungo, the sky city, in our story as part of the big art work happening across school.
Our spring term newsletter can be found here.
Have a lovely weekend
