During the second half of our week we have been concentrating on Maths. This week's focus has been percentages and linking them to fractions and decimals. We have learnt how to find 10% and use this fact to find others percentages. My Maths homework has been set about percentages.

During the afternoons we have been looking at climate change and global warming. We were fascinated by a website which showed how rises in sea levels would affect the land. A 4Om rise would see Wybunbury become a coastal community and with a 60m rise, Wybunbury would be under water mostly, apart from a small island around where the post office is. The good news is there has only been an 18cm rise over the last 100 years, so we are not in any immediate danger!

In RE we have continued to look at what Christians believe about the kingdom of God by using some of the parables Jesus told.

It has been a busy week and we are delighted that every child who participated in Bikeability passed! The instructors were mighty impressed by your attitude, behaviour and commitment. Well done all of you!

Have a fantastic weekend, Mrs Chesters
