Year 6 News

Home » News » Year 6

It was lovely to see so many of you in church on Wednesday. Year 6, you spoke beautifully and sang brilliantly — a special well done to Luke, your singing was beautiful, thank you for singing for us all.
In Maths we have completed an investigation to find out exactly how many presents are involved in the 12 Days of Christmas song and how many legs there are in total — I won't give you the answers but e were quite surprised!
On Thursday we had a DT day, in our story the tree nesters dress in plastic bags, so we had our own plastic bag and bin bag fashion show. There were some fantastic designs and we all enjoyed the challenge.
We have also made study book covers this week, some great wave doodles engulfing the world.
There is no MyMaths homework or CGP maths set for the Christmas holidays — we are having a well-deserved rest to recharge our batteries, in readiness for a busy term in the spring. Our homework timetable we recommence in the first week back.
Have a lovely weekend, and I am looking forward to seeing some of you at the choir concert tomorrow.
