Year 6

Home » News » Year 6

Year 6 have had a great week finding out about democracy. Yesterday we staged our own election, following the process for a voter from registration to ballot box and from the party point of view of deciding on policies and campaigning. We thoroughly enjoyed our day. Today we followed the last of the results coming in this morning and the headlines associated with the election. We have written our own guides to voting too.
Year 6 have worked very hard over the last few months to revise the KS2 curriculum and be ready for SATs which are not only a weekend away. You are a credit for the work you've put in — this weekend, relax and chill, nothing more can be done and on Monday we are just 'showing off' all that we know. There are no special arrangements for next week, we are just coming in as normal. Water bottles (with a sports cap) if you think you'll need a drink but the most we are in the hall for is an hour at a time.
ENJOY your weekend! RELAX and have fun — the end is very nearly in sight now!
