So...what a couple of weeks! This weeks news is last weeks and this weeks combined after technical...
Year 5's Week
We are on the count-down for the Arley Hall gardening competition this week. We have been busy re-potting our growing plants, watering, weeding and generally taking care of our precious pots! We have been completing bug homes, hedgehogs, frog houses, flags...a whole host of things to make our garden look beautiful and also show off all our science and geography learning. If anyone has photos of their learning at home or any final plants they want to bring in please do this ASAP- thank you.
We have also been looking at poetry 'Up the airy mountain, down the rushy glen..' . The children have been great at this and have been creating their own version based on our book 'The Lost'.
In maths we have been revising multiplication, looking at both the grid method and the long multiplication method- there on links to this on our MyMaths homework.
I hope you all have a lovely weekend and we will see you next week.
