Year 5 News
It has been a busy week! We have celebrated Harvest, been Spartans, Athenians and Olympians and become pottery decorators.
In Maths, we have been recapping how to do written addition and subtraction — our skills were good, and we remembered the importance of borrowing and carrying. In English, we planned our very own Greek myth — we can't wait to write them next week.
On Monday afternoon, we practised for our Harvest Worship. Tuesday afternoon was our usual P.E afternoon and on Wednesday we were busy being Olympians (see our news feed from Wednesday for more information). On Thursday we learnt the art of painting detail and finished our pots; this took patience! Finally, we closed the week with a computing lesson. This involved coding and research.
Have a great weekend,
Miss P
