We have completed our traditional stories this week in English and have self evaluated our pieces of writing. We are now moving on to report writing, all about Rainforests. We have been BBC newsreaders and presented our research to the class and now can't wait to watch ourselves back on our IWB. We will continue with developing our skills next week.

In Maths this week we have been working with co-ordinates to translate shapes within two quadrants. We have translated 2d shapes and then challenged ourselves to translate 3d shapes too.

Unfortunately due to an amber weather warning from the MET office, Natural England had to cancel our visit to the Moss today. We are all a little disappointed but understand that we need to be kept safe. This will now be re-arranged to after half term.

Our Rainforest research skills were put to the test as we worked together to win "who wants to be a millionaire." We have thoroughly enjoyed finding out unusual facts and we are amazed at the size of the Amazon Rainforest and just how many plants and animals are growing and living in them.

Hope you have a lovely weekend.
