Year 4's Big Art
Welcome back Year 4!
It has been lovely to have you all back in the classroom, ready and eager to learn. I hope you have enjoyed our first week back together as much as I have.
What have we been up to this week?
Well, this term's big art has been something a little different from what we have done before. We built houses! Not just any old house but a Tudor house. Why you might ask, well this term Year 4 are learning all about the Tudor era through our class book 'Treason'.
We spent the first part of the week researching what Tudor houses looked like, how they were built and what the differences were between the houses of the rich and the poor. We had to use a lot of new skills to construct our houses and teamwork was essential to our success! We worked very hard and now, I am proud to say, we have some finished structures. Don't they just look amazing!
I hope you have enjoyed our first week back at school and i'll see you on Monday for another fun week.
