Well done for another week of home learning. I am proud of each and every one of you (and your mums...

We hope you enjoy this new collection of reimagined images and verses from Julia Donaldson and Axel...
Year 4 News
Though it has been a week of assessments throughout school and in our class, Year 4 have had another week full of learning as well. In Literacy we finally wrote our own ending to the story of Beowulf; you all worked very hard and your stories are excellent! In Numeracy we have been reviewing the 4 number operations and looking at all the different methods we have learnt to help us solve them. Today, everyone was set a Maths Challenge. If you would like another go just watch the instructions again!
As the end of term is fast approaching, our Viking Celebration Day is also nearly here. Our Viking Day will be held on Friday 13th December. You are invited to dress up as a Viking (or something Viking related). However, if you can't don't worry, just come in your own clothes but please make sure the colours are similar to those worn by Vikings.
Lastly, next week the children will be doing some more sewing. If anybody would like to volunteer on Thursday afternoon please let us know.
Hope everyone has a fun weekend and see you all again on Monday,
Miss Pennance
